The News & Record is reporting that a High Point woman was killed Sunday when a Thomasville man ran a red light at the intersection of English and Main. The victim, 75-year-old Rachael Myers was taken to Baptist Hospital where she died.

The driver of the Acura, John Young, Jr., was charged with misdemeanor death by motor vehicle.
