The Greensboro Police Department’s Traffic Safety and Crash Reconstruction Unit is investigating a collision Tuesday that closed four of the five eastbound lanes on I-40 according to Fox8 News.

Chester Harrison of Reidsville and Larry Lawson of Browns Summit were taken by ambulance to Cone Hospital with injuries that are serious but not life-threatening.

The crash occurred between Gallimore Dairy Road and the Urban Loop exits. No information about what caused the accident has been released at this time.
